Debbie saw a telephone number to audition for Family Fued flash across the screen. With nothing to lose but a phone call, she tried the number. It took a couple of times to get through, but when she finally did an audition interview was set up. To accompany them, they asked Debbie's sister, Cindy end Marks brother, Nisi and hie wife Marche to audition with them in Sell LAke, At the Salt Lake audition, 860 families turned out to try their luck. Of these families only 50, Urn Altana, were called back for a second interview. After the second audition, the field was narrowed down to 25' final families, including the including Feud Allome, which became eligible to appear on the show The Altoma were flown to Los Angeles in April taped the show the next day, and returned to Salt Lake on April 3. The entire trip was totally paid for by the sponsors of Family Fued. The Altoma : said the . experiences was exciting, fun and enjoyable. To see how much they won, , you'll have to wait for the show to appear on May 16, at 6:30 p.m. on Channel 4. - Appy Club sponsors big show An Open Horae Show will be presented May 18 at 9 a.m. at the Duchesne County Fair Grounds by the Uintah Basin Appaloosa Club. A total of forty full horse show Mark and Debbie Altom from Altamont, along with a brother Niel and wife Marche and a sister, Cindy, will appear on Family Feud on May 16 at 6:30 p.m. Don't miss them. FEUD will be included in the show. There will be four English riding categories, a halter and a performance dess, two cattle classes, calf roping, team roping, twrliuiing two youth divisions ylyne (under 12 and 13 to 17). First place trophy and ribbons to six places will be given as well as trophies ' to the Grand Champion Mare, Stallion end Griding, with roeettes to the reserves. The most prized trophy of the show will be the high point performance trophy saddle given-t- o the high point performance horse, the saddle is donated by the Appy Club and Basin Pawn. Trophies for high point youth in each age division and rosettes to the reserves win also be provided. Jackpot roping will follow the show portion of the program at the County Fair Grounds.
