Along with this came a restructuring of the hunting and fishing licence foes. The combination of these two factors has resulLed in some confusion for a few people. On April 29 the Utah Wildlife Board rescinded the trout stamp under the new wildlife license foe structure.-Mantrout fisherman are confused ' by the recent changes in the license foes. Some have received tkketsfor fishing without a trout stamp on licenses purchased before April 29 at the old license fee rate. Anglers that buy the new $18 fishing license ' will not be required to have the trout stamp. Those who purchased their fishing license prior to April 29 for $10.50 must have a trout stamp to fish for trout throughout the remainder of 1985. Trout stamps may be purchased at most sporting goods stores and all Division of Wildlife Resouces offices throughout the 23? J . state. vernal, irnui 1925 West Highway 40 (801)789-840- 1 10 ROOSeVCLT Other problems have come up for a few anglers because they failed to read the latest clamation for fishing. With all the changes that have coma about this year it is important that people check the proclamation before going fishing. A few anglers have been ticketed for fishing out of season. Although most waters of the state are now fishing, there open to are still several Diaces that have a limited fishing season fra various biological or safety reasons. OLher regulations such as limits, baits, boating, and etc. can change from year to year in order to more properly manage the resource on individual waters. The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources puts a lot of effort into the proclamation each year. Failure of any person to know the regulations of an activity is not an excuse fra violating such regulations, whether it be. driving an automobile, operating a boat or snowmobile, fishing, hunting, trapping or any other activity which has laws set forth by legislation. Fishing on many waters throughout the state has been reported to be good. So get your license, gear and proclamation and enjoy. Good Luck!
