Show Longhorns secure berth t Altamont'a Longhorna defeated Duchesne in a double header Monday. The winning pitcher for the first game was Mac Fieldsted, with a score of 80. Kelvin Fisher pitched the second game, which ended 10i0. The Longhorns have scored 49 runs in the last five games, giving up only six. They are tied for first place with East Carbon in region play. Their league record and overall record assures the Longhorns of a berth in state quarter finals May 15 and 16. Sunday school Duchesne's gy masts competed in the Girls Utah State Championship Gymnastics held at Brigham high school recently. The team ranked 15th with 27.48 points, competing with 24 schools. The competition involved superior gymnasts from 1A, 2A and 8A schools. ?
