Show Watershed StOrage imprOVeS slightly as monthly precipitation increases In May 1 snow measurements, made bit week by personel of the Soil Conservation Service, water storage in local watersheds improved somewhat over past months, although stream flow forecasts are expected to remain below average for the current water year. When I presented my Cold Account card they automatically gave me a lower rate-j- ust like that. And they showed me how much money had saved just from having Gold Account. We've used almost all the services of Cold Account and most of the time there's no monthly charge because our checking account balance is high enough. Even when our balance drops down it still costs very little." Mr. George L Walden I . I 1976. Dee C. Hansen State Engineer in the Uintah Published Basin Standard April 22, 29, and May 6, 1976. An alternate proposal was to have East elementary become a kindergarten through 4th grade school and Roosevelt elementary a 5 through 6 grade school with a session of kindergarten and 1st grade for neighborhood children. This proposal received 23 votes. A middle school concept designed to handle social and physical adjustments of students during the years between the Jr. high and grade school usually or 6--7 and 8 was comprised of grades also discussed, and received a 46-- 8 favor vote. Some of those voting however felt that the middle school should be 6--7 graders only. Ways and means to alleviate immediate as well as future problems facing schools in Roosevelt are being studied by a committee with regards to suggestions from residents of the community! and suggestions and recommendationa to be made available to the school board. The need for a new school, in Roosevelt, is not questioned but several of those making comments felt that new . high school facilities was more immediate with other schools receiving improvements and remodeling.
