Show visited at the home ot Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lee this past weekend. Mr. and Mr. Larry Price snd Mr. and Mrs. Oran Curry spent last weekend in Elta Nevada where they enjoyed a two day weekend. She also visited Jervon Denver. e Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Roberts visited Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Jones at Maeser Mr. Saturday. e Beverly Roberts and Sharon Lamb and family went to Heber Saturday where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Ken Lamb and family. They also had their little five year old adopted daughter Shellie sealed to them. Those who attended the temple with them were Mr. and Mrs. Bernell Rhoades, Mr. and Mrs. Arvfl Rhoades, Mr. and Mrs. Burnell Turnbow, of Tabiona. After the temple everyone was invited to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Taylor for a lovely dinner. Mrs. Marva Anderson came back from Salt Lake with Mr. and Mrs. Leo Turnbow and they stopped off in Provo to help their daughter Marsha move into a new apt. at Orem. Both girls came back to spend Sunday with their parents. Mrs. Thelma Nye is in the Cottonwood Hospital where she was taken last Saturday. Mrs. Jennie Jones and Mrs. Edna Giles talked to her while in Salt Lake Wednesday. She was still not feeling very good. Kenneth Lewis, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Lewis also in in the hospital where he received surgery on his appendix last week. Mrs. Jennie Jones and Mrs. Edna Giles kept doctor appointments in Salt Lake Wednesday. They also visited Mrs. Cordelia Chatwin who has been in the Hospital for two weeks. She is Jennie's sister-in-laThey visited their children while in the city. Mrs. Edna Giles left Friday morning with her grandson Lee Patton of Salt Lake to go to Phoenix, Arizona to visit Lee's mother Lorraine Patton and Edna's daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Turnbow and Shellie visited Mr. and Mrs. Leo Turnbow Wednesday evening and Thursday and went fishing as well as visited. Mr. and Mrs. Lou Penrod of Green River Wyoming, Mr. and Mr j.Frjinkie Penrod . and new -- baby daughter of Kemmerer, Wyo., Mr. and Mrs&Max Giles and family of Draper visited Mr. and-MrFrank Defa last weekend. This was the first time the Deft's had seen their new great granddaughter who now weighs 7 lbs. She weighed a little over 2 lbs. at birth. ' e Mrs. Maxine Penrod stayed with her parents this past week to help with the extra spring work. Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Pace of Salt Lake Ralph Giles. Work day at Relief Society will be held Tuesday, May 11 at 10 a.m. Everyone is invited to a day of special classes and lots of fun. . Word comes from Denver, Colo., that the Dale Whitehead's are the happy parents of a baby boy born April 11th. The little fellow will be known as Michael Troy. All concerned are doing fine. Mr. ahd Mrs. Paul Bird and family drove to Salt Lake City on Sunday to visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Stewart who had just returned on Saturday from serving an LDS mission in New Zealand. Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. James Bird on Sunday were their granddaughter Pat and her husband Neil Davis of Ogden. Goodrich by his father; and Dee Edward Miles, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clair Miles was baptized on Saturday and confirmed a member of the LDS church on Sunday by his father. Here for the special occasion were Mr.' and Mrs. Marion Iorg from Salt Lake. e Visiting with Mrs. Sylvia, Goodrich and helping fix up her yards were Boyd and Vera Goodrich of Springville and Ethel and Fred Goodrich. It was Mrs. Sylvia's 81st birthday. It has been a happy week at the Grant Hansen home when members of their, family were here, Mark and Valerie Harston and two children of Bloomington, Illinois, Delyce Bellon and 6 children of Murray; Mr. and Mrs. Chad Hansen and son of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Duane and Merralee Boyce and two children of Provo, A. W. Sadler of Salt Lake City and Guy and Becky Hansen. e Edith Hansen from Salt Lake City is home for a few days. Her husband is still in the Veteran's Hospital in Salt Lake, e Marie Roper, Zella Bennion and Marion Monsen drove to Salt Lake on Monday to Geneofogical Library. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Winkler were in Provo on Sunday where Mrs. Winkler entered the Utah Valley Hospital. She was scheduled to undergo surgery on Monday.
