Bennett began teaching at Logan High in 1942 where she taught for a year. After two years of civil service at Hill Air Force Base she left the workforce to raise her children. She taught at North Davis Junior High in 1966 and in 1967 she began teaching at Layton. She taught English, social studies and psychology. Monte Vista School teacher Ervin L. Moss is retiring from the Davis School District this year, and an open house will be held in his honor at the school, 100 S. 200 E., Farmington, on Thursday, May 21, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. All former students and their parents, friends, and associates are invited to attend. Moss is a native of California. He came to Utah in 1951 and was stationed at Hill Air Force Base.
