Mrs. Carlson said she has arranged for a consultant to help those who might want to arrange silk flowers themselves for weddings, or the flowers can be purchased already arranged for bouquets and corsages. Store Opens KAYSVILLE The recently opened Golden Touch Ceramics shop at 141 N. Main in Kaysville offers a full line of ceramic and porcelain wares. The family venture offers classes in a variety of techniques in china painting, including the soft stain, which has shadows in it achieved by applying a base coat, antiquing and then adding colors. The dry brush technique is more to real life, said Mrs. Nellie Golden, ceramics shop owner. Open classes are taught continuously at the shop, including group classes and childrens classes. Mrs. Golden also teaches a community class at Davis High School. Its a fun relaxing way to get away, its good therapy. You can relax in a spacious atmosphere and visit with friends, said Mrs. Golden. The family does their own pouring and firing on ceramics. The items may be purchased fired and ready to paint.
