Show T4 6A Lakeside Review, Wednesday, July 10, 1985 "r Local LDS Missionaries Prepare to Serve Missions Several area LDS missionaries have recently received their mis- sion callings. : Elder Jaren W. Campbell, son of William A. and Sonya Camp- bell, has been called to the new Jamaica Kingston Mission. His farewell will be July 14 at 10:50 a.m. in the Layton 17th Ward at 60 W. Gordon. He graduated from Layton High and Seminary. He is an Eagle Scout and at- Weber State College last year where he was involved in the basketball program. Richard D. Youngberg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard M. Youngberg, has been called to serve in the Colorado Denver Mission. His farewell will be held in the Kaysville 4th Ward, 900 E. 200 N., on July 14, at 1 p.m. ; Elder Youngberg is a graduate of Davis High School and Kaysville LDS Seminary. Friends and neighbors are in; vited to an open house at 664 E. Oak Lane following the farewell. He will enter the Missionary Training Center on July 18. Elder Douglas Wayne Carter, son of John and LaRee Carter of Clearfield, has returned from the Taiwan Taichung Mission. He will speak at the Clearfield North 3rd Ward, 231 E. 300 N., on Sunday, July 14 at 2:50 p.m. Elder David Eric Griffin, son of Dewey L. Griffin, has been called to the South Dakota Rapid City Mission. He will enter the MTC July 25. His farewell will be July 14 at 2 p.m. at the Kaysville 1st Ward, 198 W. Center. Elder Griffin is a graduate of Davis High School and the Kaysville Seminary. He has attended Weber State College, Elder Michael K. He is a graduate of Davis High School. Elder Alan D. Gamble, son of Darrel G. and Marie O. Gamble of 4337 S. 2325 W., Roy, has been called to serve in the Missouri St. Louis Mission. He will speak at the Roy 9th Ward Chapel, 2175 W. 4250 S. at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 14. L' & ALAN GAMBLE JAREN CAMPBELL hrr RICHARD YOUNGBERG m : Area LDS Choir to Perform The SOUTH WEBER LDS Choir will perform Sunday, July 21 at the South Weber LDS 1st Ward. Choral selections will include, Utah! We Love Thee, America the Beautiful, All Glory, Laud and Honor, and For All the Saints. Speakers at the meeting will be Diane Earnshaw and Alice Johnston, both choir members. A vocal duet, I Wonder When He Comes Again, accompanied by pianist Bonnie Merrill, will be sung by Grace Riddle and Linda Henrie. Members of the Choir are residents of Davis, Weber, and Salt Lake counties. Singers living in Davis County are Alden Kirkham of Bountiful, Lela Stewart of Kaysville, Lois Brown of Clearfield, Cecilia Sylvia of Clinton and Alena Welker Tri-Vall- ey Tri-Vall- ey of Sunset. Choir organist is Lowell Mar- riott Harrop. Conductors are Robin Miller and Jerry Harrop. The sacrament service begins at 1:10 p.m. at the church, located on 1385 E. South Weber Drive. The public is invited.
