Group will play music from British Isles Saturday night. , Country Singles Celebrate St. Patricks with Tenpenny Tenpenny, Salt Lakes purveyors of traditional music from the British Isles, will celebrate St. Patricks Day with a concert Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Ladies Literary Club, 850 E. South Temple. The evening will feature songs, jigs, ballads, sea chanteys and fiddle tunes from Ireland, England and Scotland played on traditional instruments. The group is comprised of Mark Jardine on fiddle and concertina; Cliff Butter on mandolin, tenor banjo, (a Greek instrument similar to a mandolin) and Bou-zou- bodhran (a goatskin drum); Steve Jardine on concertina, tin whistle and bodhran; Mark Williams on guitar and pump organ; and Stan Jensen on tin whistle, wooden flute and bodhran. Saturdays ensemble will be minus Jensen who is attending school in Arizona. Advance tickets are on sale at the Cosmic Aeroplane, 258 E. 100 South, and Smokeys Records, 1515 S. 1500 East. Admission is $5. The doors will open at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, with the music beginning at 8 p.m. Seating is limited, so advance tickets are recommended. TSWBBST STOFE" - 1.
