Taking the time to say thanks Dear Editor: Kanab City would like to convey the message of the importance of the Boy Scouts Organization. The Boy Scouts Program provides an invaluable service to our community and other communities throughout the state and the nation. In Kanab City thousands of s dollars and are spent annually on service projects. Whether its building and painting fences at one ofthe ball parks man-hour- or beautification projects throughout our city, this service is greatly appreciated. So many projects are completed that would' not have happened had it not been for the Boy Scouts. Another asset is the leadership training that the program nurtures. Young men receive training through education and experience and many go on to become our leaders. Leaders of -- the past, leaders of the present, and leaders of the future. With so many single parent families, this program has provided many young men an opportunity to be mentored and to also mentor others. On behalf of Kanab City, I would like to take the opportunity to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to the Boy Scouts of America. I would also like to encourage you to take the time to say THANK YOU. tiful, very hospitable town of Kanab.
