Show School SOUTHERN UTAH NEWS WEDNESDAY APRIL 7, 1999 1999 Girls State chosen And the winners are .... These girls will join candidates from 15 high schools in District 7 at the District Girls State Tea to be held May 1, 1999 in the e Kanab City Library room at 1:00 p.m. Attendance at the Tea is very important so that the candidates may obtain the best from their Gills State experience. Speakers at the event will inBentley and Elizabeth Noel, daughter of Sherri and Michael clude outstanding former Girls State citizens. Noel. Chosen to attend 1999 Girls State are Mikkel Brown, daughter of Matt and Julie Brown; Sarah Heaton, daughter of Kirk and Carol Heaton; Tori Jones, daughter of Jerrold and Norma Jones and Joy Tait, daughter of Gene and Ina Mae Tait.
