'j rrtr 7th & 8th Grade Suns 26, Warriors 25 Clayton Cutler scored a basket with 20 seconds remaining in the game to give the Suns a one point victory over the Warriors. The game stayed very close with the Suns having a two or three point edge after each quarter. But the Warriors took the lead on Brent Robinsons shot to put the Warriors up by one with about four minutes to go. But Cutlers shot won the game for the Suns and crushed the Warriors hopes. The Suns were led by Tyrone The Magic 7th & 8th grade basketball team consisted of front row Jason Larsen scoring eight and Josh Watson, Chris Godbey, Morgan Mackelprang, Dylan Guinn and Trevor Blasdell not far behind with six, Milton. Sixers 35, Magic 23 This game between the Sixers and Magic was played tight for one half with the score 12-1- 1 Sixers. Lakers 23, Warriors 22 This close game was keyed by a big 10-- 0 second quarter for the Lakers, which enabled them a big enough cushion to hold on. Sonics 36, Magic 31 The last game of the year proved to be an exciting one as the Sonics opened up a seven point lead in the third after a tie score at halftime. The Magic tried to play catch-u- p but they couldnt better the Sonics and the Sonics were victorious in the final game of the year. Daniel Gilberg led the winners with nine points while Cody Button, James Narramore and Kyle Brunner each scored seven. The Magics high scorer was Derrick Robinson with The Sixers ended the season with a record, tops in the league.
