Each council p paid half. The buffalo was part of the Utah Buffalo Roundup in 2001-0- and was designed by artist Arlene Sibley. The buffalo is painted with scenes of famous Utah scenes and movie locations, and wrapped with a roll of film listi ng some of the movies filmed in Utah, many of them in Kane County, Utahs Little Holly- seeds and vegetation.
