Wright, a e Price physician, died June 19, 1982 at Castleview Hospital. He was 61. Dr. Wright had been hospitalized since June 14 following a three-ca- r accident in Price. A hospital spokesman said the physicians death was not due to injuries from the accident, but from a cardiac arrest. He was born Nov. 23, 1920 in Hyrum, Utah, to John Howard and Ophelia Lewis Wright. He attended Utah State University and medical school at the University of St. Louis where he obtained his degree in 1945. He served his internship at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. Dr. Wright served in the armed forces in Japan and Germany. He retired Nov. 1, 1981 with the rank of full colonel and flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force after 38 years of service. He served for six years as a Reserve Unit Hospital Commander at Hill Air Force Base. long-tim- He was a member of the Utah State Medical Carbon County Medical Association and a certified member of the Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Wright was also a member of the Price Elks Lodge No. 1550 and of the Church of Saints. Jesus Christ of Latter-daHe married Anita Rae Fausett Jan. 28, 1956. She survives. Association, y Other survivors include sons and daughters, John Scott and Sandy Coleman, both of Price, and Jim, Bill, Linda and Kit, all of Erie, Penn.; two grandchildren; parents, Hyrum; two sisters, Jacqueline White, Paradise, and Patricia Jensen, Hyrum. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Price Fourth Ward LDS Chapel. Friends may call at the chapel one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Price City Cemetery. Fausett Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. James Robert Wood FredS. Deffendol Fred S. Deffendol, 67, Price, died June 19, 1982 in Castleview Hospital of heart complications. He was bom Winfield ' ' Deffendol Sept. 5, 1914 in Evansville, Ind., to John and Donna Deffendol. He came to Price with the Civil Conservation Corps, in 1935 and ,7 ' married Powell of Thelma G. Price on Jan. 20, 1938. She survives. In his early years, he was part owner-operatof the Price Bowling alley. He was active in the Boy Scout programs in Carbon County and received the Silver Beaver Award. He managed and operated the Price Municipal Swimming Pool and was a member of Toastmasters International and the Price City Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints and was an elder in the Price Third Ward. He also worked many years at the Castle Gate coal mine and was a member of United Mine Workers of America, Local No. 1681. In addition to his wife, survivors include four children, Margaret Pitts, Mesa, Ariz., Scotty, The Gambia, West Africa, Ted, Spring Glen, and Sheri Larsen, Price; 12 grandchildren; and one brother, Clarence Deffendol, Mansfield, Ohio. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Price Third Ward LDS Chapel. Friends may call at the Fausett Mortuary from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to services at the ward chapel. Burial will be in Price City Cemetery. Deputies arrest motel manager McClain Lemmon, manager of the Price Motel, 475 E. Main, was arrested Monday by Carbon County Sheriffs deputies in connection with a warrant from Salt . Lake City. It is alleged in the warrant that Lem mon, 47, committed a theft in the Salt Lake area. The warrant was issued April 10. Details of the alleged incident were not available Tuesday. Lemmon was to be released on $10,000 bail. PROVO James Robert Wood, infant son of Bob Gene and Terry Lynn Anderson Wood, Wellington, died June 20, 1982 at Utah Valley Hospital here. He was born June 19, 1982 in Castleview Hospital and flown to Provo on Life Flight. In addition to his parents, survivors include one brother, Tony Ryan, and one sister, Genia Lynn, all of Wellington; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. DeLoy Anderson, Wellington, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Wood, Price; of Illinois, Helen Rich, Wellington, lonnie and Kay Simons Michelle, Joshua and Jared S IN Blanche Beiten and a Iowa. About 20 friends managed to squeeze into her room Tuesday night to share some laughs and give her a wedding shower she'll never forget, Phutu by Al HjitmAnn of Helper man gets probation in sex assault Patrick Eufracio Vigil, the Helper man who admitted to sexually abusing ,0nssl girl, received a suspended prison a sentence Monday and was placed on two years probation. Judge Boyd Bunnell of the 7th District Court, Price, sentenced Vigil to zero to five years in the Utah State Prison and suspended the sentence on condition he undergo alcoholism treatment. The treatment includes detoxification at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Salt Lake City and therapy at the Alcohol Rehabilitation Center in Ogden. Bunnell said when Vigil is certified fit to be returned to the community, his probation will be reviewed. In imposing the sentence, the judge followed the recommendations of the state Division of Adult Probation and Parole. Defense attorney Bryce K. Bryner said Vigils family is willing to help him comply with the terms of the probation. The crime occurred Feb. 21 and involved a Helper girl. When arraigned in 11th Circuit Court, Vigil faced an additional charge of rape but was only bound over to District Court on the forcible sexual abuse charge. County Attorney Keith H.
