Show THE GREEN SHEET 4 Thursday, July 30, 1987 rajj Wins Four - T'Ville Plays Six In a rush to TAYLORSVILLE. complete its regular season slate, Taylorsville's Legion team played six games since last Wednesday, beating Murray 10-- first then blanking Jordan Thursday, falling to West Jordan Friday, stopping Cottonwood Saturday, dropping a decision to Kearns Sunday (see Kearns story) and bouncing back to knock off Granger Monday and Tuesday. Holladay Taylorsville is in fifth pace in the Valley standings at 1 0 0 1 4 11-- 9 3 10-- Talorsille4, Holladay 3 Holladay got on the board first witn two runs in the top of the first, Gary Ogden tripling in one and Brian Hill singling in the second. Taylorsville tied on rbi singles by Troy Leavitt and Gaylen Evans. Taylorsville moved in front in the fifth, Mark Tolbert basehitting in a run and a second coming home on an error. Granger got to within a run in the sixth, when Odgen singled in Jeff Geertsen Tolbert pitched the distance, giving up six hits. Taylorsville had eight hits.
