All these are included in any year V of school. This year, however, seemed to have more laughter, more frustation, more fears and certainly more tears, than any other I recall. I remember on the first day of school, thinkingv.well .this is are going to make this year the best year that has ever seen. We did our best and gave it our all. This senior class and student body has topped all others and surpassed all expectations. Weve earned the respect of teachers and administrators and even our peers. We are the state champs in baseball and we have had many individuals win honors this year. We have survived a tragedy that took one of us away so close to our graduation. I reflect back on the past year and I smile. Yes, I am proud to be a Warrior. I owe a few people a lot of thanks for helping me make it through this year. The student body officers are first on the list. Brian, Jim, Valerie, Patrice and Tricia, thank you all for jobs well done and even a spare shoulder to lean on. Karen Shields, you have been there in good times and bad. You have let me laugh with you, cry with you and even scream at you a few times. You are everything that I am not and With the two of us together, even perfection is possible - possible but not probable. Thank you for just being my friend. Many teachers have given a lot to me, but only a few stand out in my mind. Mr. Grant Taylor, you are a motivator without being people overbearing. You gave us suggestions, but always let us do our own thing. And, last but not least, your creativity saved quite a few show cases this year. Ms. Karrie Adair, you took over a difficult job on short notice. Debate is not just a class or hobby, it is a way of life four months out of every school year. Thank you for sticking it out and not throwing in the towel when things got rough. Youve turned a disorganized bunch of kids into a team of accomplished speakers. You were brave enough to take us to California and even forgave us for not doing too well. Youre quite a lady and I will enjoy helpig you make Warrior debate number one. Finally, Madame Juliette Durst chere, vous etes ma favori. Foreign lanugage is one of the most challenging subjects Ive set out to accomplish. You understand that because English is a second language to you. I will continue to study and hopefully succeed. I have the ability and the desire within myself, but I owe my inspiration and my basic understanding to you. La Vache est mon animal favori. My last thnak you goes to my parents. Doug and Susan Crittenden are truly the bet parents in the world. Thank you for being understanding when I put my office before family. Thanks, Mom, for doing my dishes when I had to be decorating for a stomp, typing my papers so that I wouldnt miss the big game, and understanding my actions even when my reasoning left something to be desired.
