Show 3B THE GREEN SHEET Thursday, June 19, 1986 Jack, Javona Dunstone Note Double Celebration Sunday, June 22nd, will have special significance for Jack and Javona Dunstone of Magna, for they will not only celebrate their golden wedding anniversary, but Jacks 70th birthday as well An open house in their honor will be hosted by their children at their home, 2841 South 8800 West, from 12 noon to 3 p m , and they are inviting friends and relatives to join with them in the celebration The couple was married June 17, 1936 on Jacks 20th birthday, at the Salt Lake City & County Building The first four years of their marriage they lived in Garfield Later they moved to Magna m a house on 9150 West, and still later they bought the home they live in now Jack retired m 1977 after 42 years with Kennecott Copper In his early working years he worked as a sampler at the Magna Mill, moved on to begin a moocher at the Smelter, worked on the track gang and at the Bonneville Plant, and at the time of his retirement was a repair helper at the Magna Mill Javona never worked outside of the home, but she raised four children, two daughters and two sons They are Darlene (Mrs George) Eastman, Magna, Marilyn (Mrs Frank) Rushton, Salt Lake, Tom Dunstone, Kearns, and Johnny Dunstone, Magna Javonas hobbies include embroidery and crochet The Dunstones also have eighteen grandchildren and twelve New Joseph Crapos Wed In Washington DC Now making their home in Provo, following a honeymoon at Myrtle Beach, So Carolina, are the newiyweds, Mr and Mrs Joseph Sheila D Hermansen of Murray, traded wedding vows with Da' d L Aposhian of West Valley City, in double ring rites on June 12th in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, with the groom's grandfather, George Z Aposhian performing the sealing ceremony A wedding breakfast was also held at Mr Aposhians home to honor the duo and a reception was given that evening at the Old Meeting House The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs C. Dean Hermansen of Murray She is a graduate of Murray high and is attending the University of Utah with a Sociology Departmental scholarship She is Social officer and secretry of Lambda Delta SigmaAlpha Theta Chi, a member of the Freshman Council and secretary of the Social committee The groom is the son of Mr and Mrs Lawrence B Aposhian of West Valley and graduated from Cyprus high He has filled an LDS mission to Baton Rouge, Louisiana and is now attending the UofU Diane Pope attended the bride as matron of honor Other attendants included Amie Shields, Karen Wood, Cheryl Golemewski, Lam Aposhian and Marylynne Buford Brenda Steed attended the guest tified Careers Institute He has filled an LDS mission in Raliegh, North Carolina Damam Crapo The bride is the former Tracy Nichols, daughter of Mr and Mrs Rick Loftin of Kinston, No Carolina and attended Brigham Young The two exchanged their marriage vows in the Washington D C LDS Temple on June 12th and an open house will be held on June 28th at the home of the grooms parents, 4271 W 5780 South, from 7 to 9 p m Mr and Mrs Cleed Crapo, Kearns, are the parents of the bridegroom who is a Kearns high graduate and is attending the Cer Shelly Nichols attended her sister as maid of honor and the duties of best man were performed by Joe Walker book Duties of best man were performed by Steve Aposhian while Greg Brimhall, Troy Buford, Chad Meier, Bryan Hermansen and Dan and Matt Aposhian The newlyweds honeymooned m Park City and are making their home m Salt Lake parties were hosted by Marilisa Wynn, Bekcy Tueller, Mary and Colleen Nesi, Goldie Rueckert, Amie Shields, Joyce Muhlestein, Marion Margetts, Bonnie and Elaine Hermansen and Lois Bigler Factory Outlet 23 2DGi Pre-nupti- Kenneth and Evelyn Goble V MarkFifty-fiv- e The children of Kenneth and Evelyn Sadler Goble of Magna, are honoring the 55th wedding anniversary of their parents at a family luncheon to be held June 22nd at the Goble home, 3053 So 8400 West The honored pair w ere married on June 24th, 1931 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and have made their home in Magna the entire time with the exception of two years m Salt Lake Kenneth was born m Nephi, Utah, the fourth of seven children born to William and Mary Ellen Bale Goble He attended Central elementary, graduated from Juab high and attended night classes at the University of Utah Evelyn was born in Pleasant Green (now Magna) the daughter of Leslie D and Amelia Hardman Sadler, one of seven children She attended Hawthorne and Webster elementaries, Cyprus high and later on received schooling at Brigham Young University night school in Salt Lake The two have been active LDS He has been in the members presidencies of all priesthood quorums and on the Stake high council for several years Evelyn has served in the womens auxiliaries and in the Relief Society presidencies of two wards They have been interested in genealogical work, travelling to England with the BYU travel tours and have gone four different times to England to trace their personal genealogy The United States eastern coast has also been visited in their research and ten years m the genealogical library They are now serving an 18 month mission at that library and are workers at the S L Temple The honored couple are the parents of four children They are Gayle (Mrs R Neil) Ord of Brigham City, K Grant of West Valley; and William Kent and Gordon B of Magna They have 26 grandchildren and 15 greatgrandchildren The entire family will be present at the luncheon with the exception of four members, along with their families We are pleased The two state and honored to be a part of our comof munity, church and the gieat land America Years Of Marriage Ryan Elder Ryan Elder, son of Ray A and Kristine Florence Elder, has been called to an LDS mission in the Georgia area of the Atlantic mission He will be honored at a farewell meeting on June 29th in the Spencer 4th ward, 8181 W 3320 South, at 10.30 a m He will leave for the training center on July 2nd Ryan is a Cyprus high graduate where he was active in all sports with football a specialty and loves to hunt and fish He also has graduated course of LDS from a four-yea- r Seminary He has completed one years study at the College of Eastern Utah on a football scholarship He has one sister, Stacey Elder and his grandparents are Mr and Mrs Aubrey W Florence, Magna and Mrs and Mrs Edward Doyle Carter, both of Magna m m m m m m m QDDDaDDDDDDDBBBasiMa ZZ Z ZZ ZZ Z ZZ ZZ NEW ADULT PATRONS ONLY |
