St. Joseph The Worker Catholic church was the setting on April 28th for the double-rin- g ceremony uniting Lloyd R. Thayne and Denise Jean Lane in marriage. A rehearsal dinner was held at Marie Callenders and a reception was later given at the Old Meeting House. The bride is the daughter of Jerry Lane and Mrs. Rosalie Warburton. She graduated from Granger high, attended the University of Utah and is currently attending Utah Technical College. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rey R. Thayne and graduated from Granger high. He attended the w vip University of Utah. Robin Wallace was maid of honor with Norma Thayne, Dwaina Thompson and Tammy Decroo as attendants. Flower girl was Randy Warburton while Donna Sandoval attended the guest book. Best man was Rey R. Thayne while Greg Nuismer, Terry Lane and Don Kellcher ushered. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Nye Wedding Vows Traded By Gary Nye And Joni Griggs Gary Allen Nye and Joni Griggs were joined in marriage in a double-rin- g wedding ceremony performed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on April 20th. A wedding breakfast was held at Della Fontana and a reception was later given at the Grant 12th ward. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Deal Griggs and graduated from Granite high. Mr. and Mrs. Allen E. Nye are parents of the bridegroom, who graduated from Granger high. Jan Johanson was matron of honor with Harli Zaugg, Valerie Larson, and Kimberli Griggs as bridesmaids. Flower girls were Jessica and Jill Johanson and Brittany Larson while Jackie Stoll attended the guest book. Troy Nye was best man with Bryan and Kerry Griggs as ushers. ' I Pharmaceutical Assn Schedules Convention Members of the Utah Pharmaceutical Assn and their spouses met for their annual convention in St. George on April 26, 27 and 28th at the Four Seasons convention center there. The womens auxiliary was organized fifty years ago with the aim of sponsoring service projects in the field of health and to aid their spouses in the organization. This past year auxiliary members have volunteered their talents to the Primary Childrens Medical Center, participated in the Christmas Tree Festival and worked at the S. L. Detention Center. Through the leadership of president LaRee L. Park, auxiliary members have sponsored fund raising events in Provo, Ogden, Salt Lake, Sandy, Bountiful, Cedar City and Roosevelt.
