Late registration for the run will be held at 3:30, with the event beginning at 4 p.m. A barbecue will be held on the track at 6 p.m. The program will begin in the auditorium at 7:30. Admission is $1. Performances will include the dance club, drama club, show-and-te- Honor Roll re-ha- Dana, jazz Dana, orchestra and vocal groups, in a talent showcase of the schools fine arts program. The run is open to all students of Kearns high and its feeder schools as well as anyone, of any age, wishing to participate. A parent or guardian will be asked to sign entry forms for any person under 18 wishing to run. The course will run from the school down Cougar Lane, along 5400 South for a short distance, up through the residential area to 6200 South, and along that street to Cougar Lane and back to the school, a distance of 3.1 miles. The running course will be clearly marked and police assistance will be given throughout, said Mrs. Burrows. Mile markers will be set up so runners will know how far they have to go. A vehicle will lead, a paramedic crew will be at the finish line and there will be an aid station at the half-wa- y mark for runners who may have a problem, with ice bags, water or other things available, she said.
