Show PAUL 3 TEMPLAR TRUMPET, OCTOBER 29, 1998 Foreign exchange students Eri Nishida is a foreign exchange student from Nagano, Japan. The location of the 1998 Olympic winter games. She lives there with her parents and her brother Tervya. They have a dog named Char. One difference that Eri noticed was the cows and horses, ou dont see those where she came from. She likes Manti I ligh school because By:Katie Gardner Bnina Mamprim is a foreign exchange student from Bend Horizante, Brazil. It's located six hours from Rio De Janicro. It is very large, with about three million people. I ler family there consist of her parents and one brother Pedro. She also has five dogs. She likes Ml IS because its different from her old school. 1 ler favorite class is P.E. In her spare time she likes to go out with her friends. Her plans for the future are to become a lawyer. When you see her in the hall, say Hi! New students wE ICQZ the students arc friendly. Her favorite classes arc Foods and Show choir. In her spare time Eri enjoys watching movies. I ler plans for the future are to become a writer. Something strange about her is that she dislikes Root Beer. When you see her you'll know because her smile will light up the room. Knights Noteworthy - Lvndsi Price By:Brooke Birk Joining us from St. George. Utah is junior Lyndsi Price. Lyndsi lives with Karen and Tracy Christensen of Manti. She is sixteen and likes it here even though it is so small compared to her old school in St. George. Lyndsi loves to shop and hang out with her friends. She thinks that our school has a lot of school spirit and she enjoy s going to all the football and volleyball games. When asked if she liked Manti High she replied Manti High School is so awesome, even though there is Florida, the sunshine state. Katie is sixteen and a junior here at Manti High School. When asked what she likes best at Manti she firmly stated the boys along with ev cryone she has met has been very friendly." Katie lives with Mike and Polly Robertson of Manti. One of her favorite things to do is to cruise around town with her little miniature horses. Katie has always wanted to liv e in Utah and loves living here in Manti. They often are the teachers third hand in correcting assignments, copying papers, and entering computer information. Sometimes the work goes unnoticed and this is to thank some of this schools teachers aids. Rebekah Nuttall is Mrs. Rogers idea of a true Templar. The second aid being honored is Marie Erickson. Mrs. Bown said, Marie is a very dependable person. She always checks in and is willing to help. She continually is happy and out going, which will help her in her new position as the president of Jessie can be found in the councilors office helping with whatever is needed. Mrs. Good commented that, He is very dependable and trustworthy. I can always count on him to do what I ask. Although only three aids were honored in this edition, all of the aids at Manti High School are greatly appreciated. |
