The result of this effort will be that every scout leader in the Sanpete District will have either been on staff or have participated in basic training by the year 2000 when a statewide Jamboral will be held. Milton Glynn Armstrong 5 GUNNISON VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL 600 EVERY BOY DESERVES A TRAINED SCOUT LEADER Milton Glynn Armstrong passed away October 24, 1998 in Sandy, Utah. He was born May 1, 1916 in r.phraim, Utah to Andrew and Ldia Johnson Armstrong. le married Rhea C. Erickson on August. 1935. Milton was an educator who sered as a teacher and administrator in the public schools, and 1 Thus far Cub Scout Basic Training has been held in Manti where 20 leaders were trained. Also, Varsity Scout Basic Training was held in Gunnison where Wallace S. Buchanan ten leaders were trained. Boy Scout Basic Training is scheduled to be held in Ephraim on October 30 (evening) and October 31 (morning).
