A new type of telephone service will he available on March 2 to Mountain Bell customers who live in areas served by electronic switching offices. At the present time, customers with the telephone prefix 451 have electronic switching and are eligible for the new 1MR service. . r The basic y charge for the new Residence Message Rate Service (1MR), is $5.45 per month plus the appropriate- Extended Area Service (EAS) charge. y Features of 1MR service are a line and 50 calls per month within the local calling area.
