The bride is the former Miss Sandra J. Schettler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Haydn A. Schettler, 846 E. 'Capitol Blvd. The Schettler home was the setting in the for a reception honoring the newlyweds. , Mr. Pitts is a son of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Pitts, 206 I St. They were hosts at a wedding breakfast, after the ceremony at the Doll House. For the reception the bride wore a full length gown of white organdy with applique accents. A pearl crown held her fingertip veil and she carried a bouquet of gardenias. Attending the bride was Miss Peggy Jowers, maid of honor and Miss Susan Pitts, the bridegrooms sister. They wore kelly green satin dresses and matching head pieces and they carried bouquets of white carnations, tinted green. Tim Newman was best man and Dan Schettler, brother of the bridegroom, ushered. The bride will graduate -- from the University of Utah in June with a degree In secondary education. The bride-groofilled a LDS mission to England and is a graduate of the Salt Lake Trade Technical Institute. The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas. |
