Neither nor an index was included, although in the Visition of the Redemption of the Dead the references to 1 Peter quoted in the scripture have been listed. One of the three insert sizes will be appropriate for any edition of the scriptures. Persons with the leather bound triple or quadruple combination may wish to round the comers of the insert they use to match their books. The two scriptures contained in the new addition are the Vision of the Celestial Kingdom received by the Prophet Joseph Smith Jan. 21, 1836, in the temple at Kirtland, Ohio, and the Vision of the Redemption of the Dead given to President Joseph F. Published under authority of the First Presidency, the in serts are printed in three sizes to be readily included in the pocket, standard and large print editions of the scriptures. The price on the inserts is 25 cents each, no matter what the size. Deseret Book officials said an appropriately sized insert will be included with each new copy of the Pearl of Great Price or combined scriptures beginning in June. These will be included within the box and not glued into the edition.
