Formerly playing under the colors of the East Carbon Alumni, the boys needed a sponsor for the Salt Lake meet. Their search was short as the East Carbon Rotary club generously offered to pay the teams entrance fee and part of the trip expenses. The John W. Galbreath company through George Galbreath purchased new basketball suits for the team to wear in the tournament. The suits are colored white, gold and blue, and are lettered East Carbon Rotary across the front.
