The skit Down Memory Lane opened as Morgan Greenwood sang Memory Lane and When I Grow Too Old to Dream. While Mrs. Alma Anderson and Mrs. Florence Rich, portraying an elderly couple, looked through their scrap book the story unfolded taking the audience back over the years to the time when they first met as a young couple before the first world war. Their meeting, their marriage after his return home and subsequent highlights in their lives up to the present time were depicted in song and narration and in the costumes worn which were typical of the different eras. They met as a young couple While Strolling Through the Park One Day, a novelty number by Mrs. Tex Arthur as the girl and Mrs. James E. Paschal as the boy. Sweet Adeline or his last fling before going to war, was sung by Mrs. Thomp-sp- n, Mrs. Bean and Mrs. Jeanselme and Katie was sung by Mrs. Guy Prichard as Johnnie and Mrs. Nola Hills as Mollie; the first Easter was a corset scene with Mrs. Arthur and Mrs. Paschal getting into old fashioned corsets before donning Easter outfits for the Easter Parade sung by Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Jeanselme; the vocal trio sang "My Blue Heaven while Mollie and Me and Baby Makes Three was portrayed by Mrs. Arthur and Mrs, Paschal. An elapse of time brings the story up to the second world war and the baby, now grown, leaves for the service and returns home with a bride from Ireland. Johnny Doughboy Finds a Rose In Ireland, My Wild Irish Rose were sung by Morgan Greenwood while Mrs. Ostler Irish rose from the portrayed land. For the grand finale of the God program everyone sang Bless America. Mrs. Gerald Anderson and Mrs. Willis Bean were the accompanists for the musical numbers.
