Show Brigham City, Utah November 18, 1976 Thursday, 26 BOX ELDER JOURNAL, Plymouth Ponderings Ladies attend baby shower Mrs. Tamra Maiers of Ogden attended a family gathering at the home of Mrs. Susan Waters in Bountiful honoring Mrs. Vadis Skinner of Salt Lake City who was observing her birthday anniversary. Rodney Hess of Salt Lake City spent Friday and Saturday with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Norris Hess. by FloMunsonMrs. LaPriel Secrist accom- panied her daughter Mrs. Annette Adams and Mrs. Merle Holmgren of Bear River City and Mrs. Elsie Welling of Fielding to Salt Lake City Saturday where Mrs. Adams hosted a pink and blue shower at the home of Mrs. Mary Ann Jack-ma- n in honor of Mrs. Gloria Welling Holmgren and her new baby born Nov. 2. About 20 guests attended and enjoyed a luncheon. Mrs. Holmgren was the recipient of lovely and useful gifts. Friday evening Mrs. Ruth Stokes accompanied her daughter Jana Ruth and her little friend Dawn Cornwall (of Riverside) to Logan where they enjoyed skating at the Roller Rink. They returned to the Stokes home for a taco supper. Dawn remained overnight at the Stokes home. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Newel Nish last week were their grandson and his wife Mr. and Mrs. Michael Nish of Salt Lake La-mo- nt Waldron and children Blair, Kirk, Kevin, Nathon and . Was Guests Mrs. Ray Udy was an overnight guest at the home of her mother Mrs. Edith Atkinson in Samaria Wednesday. Enjoying Sunday dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Secrist were their friends Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Wheatley of Malad. Monday Mr. and Mrs. Gardner Udy accompanied Bryce Udy of Tremonton to Salt Lake City where they spent the day. Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Hoskins of Portage vistied Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Lamb have been spending a few days in Chesterfield, Idaho. Burt, son at Mr. and Mrs. William P. Burt of 688 West Sixth North, Brigham City, was recently deployed from Honolulu for a patrol. He is a crewmember aboard the Coast Guard cutter Mellon, a Hamilton-clashigh endurance cutter. Mellons primary mission during the patrol will be to enforce U.S. and International laws and treaties governing fishing in Alaskan waters. Additionally, his cutter has been assigned to ll search and rescue duty and will be participating in a variety of scientific data collection projects.
