Miss Mary Jane Moss spent the forepart of the week visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. Keith day for a Grand Opera tour in San Francisco sponsored by the Utah Opera Guild of Salt Lake City. She accompanied a group of approximately 25 who will enjoy four productions at the San Francisco Opera House. Other special events and luncheons will also be enjoyed. They have reservations at the Sair-moHotel. A planned dinner party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John McClellan Saturday evening honoring John McClellan who has been released as a clerk in the Fielding ward. Gail Godfrey has been sustained to take his place. Attending were Bishop and Mrs. Richard Petersen, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Welling, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Udy, Mr. and Mrs. Burnell Roundy, Mr. and Mrs. Terry Lewik, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Gam and Mr. and Mrs. Gail Godfrey. Mrs. Bill (Pam Kent) Mellon has been spending the past week visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. Dan Kent and family. Pam has been in Nuraberg, Germany with her husband who is serving in the Armed Forces. Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Dan Kent and family entertained at a lovely turkey dinner with all the trimmings honoring Pam. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Kent and son of Tremonton, Mike Moss, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Moss, Mr. and Mrs. Rick Kent and family of Fielding, Lorna Gamer of Hy-m- Mrs. Annette Richards attended a party at the home at her parents Mr. and Mrs. H.C.-Nichol- in Ogden Saturday. The occasion was her mother's birthday anniversary. Others attending were Mrs. Betty Rounds, Mrs. Norma McKee and Mrs. Josephine Barrett.' Refreshments were enjoyed followed by a social. Guild Meets The Future Progress guild met at the home of Mrs. Barbara King Thursday evening with Mrs. Aloha Gam and Mrs. Sylvia Rolley as President Mrs. Julie Wood conducted a short business meeting afterwhich Mrs. Margaret Hansen, manager of the Credit Union from the- McKay-De- e hospital in Ogden gave an informative discussion on finances. A lovely luncheon was served. The next meeting will be the annual Christmas party to be held Dec. 16 at the home of Mrs. RaEtta Jones with Mrs. Karen Miller, Mrs. Karen Wilcox and Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Dan Kent and daughter Colleen, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Moss accompanied Pam to the airport in Salt Lake City where she left by plane for Seattle to be with her husbands parents, Mr. and Mrs. William L. Quintin Hess Jr. who is employed as the Division Customer Service Manager for Automatic ADP has now been transfered to Orem where he will make his home for the present time. Quintin Hess Jr. has just returned from a two week vacation in England where he enjoyed visiting friends he had met when he was fulfilling an LDS mission in that area not long ago. The Honeyville news this week would like to send out congratulations to Mrs. William Ellis who celebrated her 75th birthday recently. To honor her on this occasion, her daughter, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Anderson, gave her a special birthday party. She invited the brothers and sisters of Mrs. Ellis and most of them were able to attend. Those present at the party were Mrs. MaDell Wharton, Mr. and Mrs. RenRay (Donna) Bowen, George E. Ward, Moroni Ward, Mr. and Mrs. Golden C. Ward and Mr. and Mrs. A. E. (Lucille) Carlson. ' - Unable to Attend Those unable to attend were Rulon A. Ward of Santa Clara, and Eunice W. Tovey of California. They sent letters to Mrs. Ellis. All those attending wrote special memories they had of Mrs. Ellis an will be compiled in her book of remembrance. Instead of brining presents to the affair, those attending were asked to write any special memories they all had of their sister. These were read at the party after which refreshments were served, including a large sheet cake decorated by Mrs. Sue James. To show appreciation for the Whites friendship, their neighbors got together at the Ralph Tolman home for a neighborhood party. A pot luck supper was enjoyed by those attending. The Whites were presented with a beautiful painting signed by all their neighborhood friends. Few Days at Home Kelly Walker, who was injured in a power line accident a few months ago, was allowed to spend a few days at home with his family. Although he is now back in the hospital, he is reported to be recovering well from his injuries. Everyone in Honeyville wishes him continued improvement and we want him to know that our thoughts are with him. A special day took place for Cory Dale Bingham, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Byron Bingham. Little Cory was blessed on Sunday and family and friends were there to help celebrate the occasion with a d'nner. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bingham and daughters Eva and Rachel, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Braegger and their children Kathy, Sheryl, and Marianna and son Donald. Other family members there were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bingham and children Alta Faye and Benjamen, Lynne Bingham and fiance Teri Forrest, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Braegger and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Braegger and daughter Melissa. High school is an Ken Cook, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Cook, Brigham City, portrays several characters In the Nov. 0 Campus 12-1- 18-2- Community Theatre produc- - Performances begin each evening at 8:15 in the SUSC Auditorium under the direction of Fred C. Adams, associate professor of drama. The Good Doctor includes nine comic vignettes written by American playwright Neil Simon which have been adapted from the stories of Anton Chekhov. "The play is a real test for acting ability since each actor must portray several charac- ters, Director Adams said, "for this reason it is being entered in American College Theatre Festival competition." Ken is a sophomore at SUSC majoring in theatre arts. He is a member of the Drama club, the Program Bureau and travels with the Shakespeare Costume Tour company. Sponsored by the Box Elder County Nutrition Education committee, the holiday offering will feature Louise Young, home economist for Mountain Fuel Supply. The demonstration will be given first in the Bear River Junior High Home Economics department on Friday, Nov. 19, beginning at 2 p.m. It will be repeated Friday, Dec. 3, in the home economics departmental Box Elder Junior High school. Starting time will be 2 p.m. Problems in scheduling have made it necessary to hold this demonstration on different days so be sure to circle the date for your area and plan to be with us, a committee spokesman said.
