Show Riverside Register BOX ELDER JOURNAL, Brigham City, Utah Thursday, November 7, 1974 Quilting Chief to air party youth arrests at club meet held Members of the Ladies Community club will hear Brigham City Police Chief Steve Studdert air problems of juvenile arrests in the city during their club meeting on Thursday, Nov. 7, at the Community Center, Using the number of juvenile arrests and actions taken in recent months as a basis for his analysis of local youth problems, Chief Studdert will be specific in his discussion of the types of problems involved and the needs of the community to find solutions. Program chairman for the day will be Evelyn Larsen, who will introduce the speaker to the group. With the youth theme headlining the program, two talented youthful singers Mike Andrus and Stephen Larsen will present original vocal musical numbers SUNDAY BREAKFAST accompanying themselves on the guitar and banjo. As usual, the meeting will begin with a social time at 3:45 p.m. under the direction of Carolyn Lee assisted by Mae Balls, Bernice Bingham, May Darrington, Barbara Holman, Valaine Lepchenske and Joan Kimber. The program and business meeting will begin at 4 p.m. with President Elva Caldwell presiding at the business meeting. All members of the club are urged to attend, according to the meeting chairman. YOUTH TOPIC Promontory Promptings Halloween, fashion show highlight community fun here by Doris Flint Halloween party was the activity for activity night. It was under the direction of Toni Flint.
