Parachute team at school Sunday The Army parachute team, the Golden Knights, will put on a demonstration this Sunday at the Intermountain School football field for Brigham City area residents. Jumping will begin at 2 p.m. and everyone is welcome, according to local Army Recruiter Sgt. Joseph Lessard. The Golden Knights were scheduled to appear in Brigham City last year, but a tragic air crash in North Carolina snuffed out the team, and a new team, comprised of the present members, was formed. Each of the members of the team is a volunteer who must have hundreds of free fall jumps to his credit before he is admitted to the team. They jump from 13,500 feet, pass batons, form human stars and perform bomb bursts. They reach speeds of 180 miles an hour and cover miles of distance before they maneuver their gold and black Para commander chutes to a pinpoint landing on a 100 millimeter target. -- Lutheran church were held shortly after the establishment of the NASA office at Thiokol.
