They have also been visiting relatives in Brigham City. Tuesday Mr. and Mrs. Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Shaw and family accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Brent Johnson and family visited at Lagoon and also with Mrs. Reta Richards and family in Salt Lake City. Attending a Lund family reunion held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Boyden and family in Salt Lake City were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Shumway and son David of Tremonton and Mr. and Mrs. 0. Dee Lund and family of Brigham City. A planned pot luck dinner was enjoyed followed by a social. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Taylor Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lund and Mr. and Mrs. Byron Lund and daughters Lisa and Julie Ann of Magna. Howard is an employee at Kennecott and is Mrs. Taylor's brother. Byron is on the faculty at Cyprus High School in Magna and is Mrs. Tylors nephew. son-in-la- Tasty Dinner Approximately 275 High Priests and their partners from the Tremonton Stake along with Senior Citizens and their partners enjoyed a party at Park Peterson Saturday evening. Mrs. D. B. Green accompanied by her sister Mrs. Grace Pinegar of Spanish Fork left Saturday for West Covina, Calif., to visit their sister Mrs. Pearl Walton. Saturday guests enjoying a cook-ou- t at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Garland Puzey were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Puzey and children of Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. John Broberg of Logan. Vernell Mrs. Visiting Morrison during the week were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Totton of Ridgecrest, Calif. The Tottons came especially to attend the wedding reception for Mr. and Lee Sam Mrs. (Tonie Christensen) Millhone in Bear River City. Others who came from Las Vegas especially for the wedding and reception were Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Bourne and family. Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Rogers Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Taylor of Salt Lake City. Visit from Colorado Overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Davis and family Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Peck and six children of Brighton, Colo. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Rees visited Leslies mother Mrs. Julia Rees in Ogden Saturday. Mrs. Grace Hales spent a few days last week visiting Dr. and Mrs. Dean Floyd and family in Bountiful. Enroute home she visited her sister Mrs. Hazel planned dinner prepared by each of the wards in Tremonton Stake consisted of roast beef with all of the trimmings. A Allen in Mrs. Mary Mendoza and daughters Lori and Kathie arrived from Los Angeles, Calif. Thursday evening to visit her parents Mr. and Mrs. Con Mrs. Hansen. Wednesday Mendoza was at the Salt Lake airport to meet her husband who will also spend a week at the Hansen home. The Tremonton Skyway Ladies Golf association hosted a Northern District Invitational Thursday. A continential breakfast was served before the play. Fifty ladies participated. Prizes went to low gross, low net, low putt in each of the four flights. Other play prizes were given along with a door prize. Mildred Shumway, president of the Skyway Ladies Golf association was chairman for the event. A delicious luncheon was served with Alice Weidman as chairman assisted by Ulalla Hansen, Margaret Bess, Donna Fronk, Marian Anderson, Ila Capps and Joyce Johnson. Arriving Saturday to spend a week visiting Mr. and Mrs. Baer and other Reuben relatives in this area were Dr. and Mrs. Mark Baer and children Danny, Laura, Robert and Barbara of Alamosa, Colo. The Bear River high school 1954 Class Reunion was held at the Bowcutt Reception Center Saturday evening with DeeAnn Rudd of Fielding and Barbara Nelson of Bothwell as cohostesses. Over one hundred former classmates along with their partners joined together for an evening of reminiscing. A short program was held with students from the 1954 class participating. Kelly Waldron who claimed Evelyn Manning as his bride in rites performed in the Ogden LDS Temple Wednesday. They included Kristy Nelson and Craig Christensen, Neil Nelson and his boys, Peggy Porritt and her and Grandma children, Grandpa Nelson, Great grandmother Ida Christensen, Brian, Kimmy and Jared Nessler, Sandra and Shayne Lewis, Grandpa and grandma Nessler Carrie and Christensen, and her parents. She opened lots of gifts and had lots of fun. The Carl Iverson family held a reunion last Saturday at the park. All the families were very well represented and every one enjoyed renewing family ties 4 arrested by police in Brigham Two adults and a pair of juveniles have been arrested by Brigham City police. Eldon Kim Birch, 18, 648 North First West, and Robert Warren Grobe, 18, 564 South Seventh West, both of Brigham City, were arrested Aug. 17, and charged with possession of marijuana by Officer Bryon Bingham. Sgt. Billy Jensen arrested two from Brigham City on the same day on a burglary were apcharge. They prehended after entering Merrills Planning Mill. Reunion Held Sunday a Junius Thompson reunion was also held at the park with the LaMarr Iverson, Boyd Hawkes families and the Eugene (Sallie) Mabrys, Bob Dennisons (Carla), W. F. Browns (Jeanette), Larrie Marie Berry and daughter Marla, Kelly Iversons, Pete Misrasi (Betty) and Gary, and other family members. The Willard H. Anderson family held their family reunion at Rees Pioneer last Sunday, Eighty-si- x family members were present. The afternoon was spent visiting and eating Mrs. Lee Anderson came from Santa Monica, Calif., Mrs Edith Montgomery and son Jim and his wife came from Vernal. Arvilla Holmgrens entire family was able to attend. Ramsdell Dewey just returned from an annual weeks fishing trip at Grays River in Wyoming. Dee, Dick, Ted, Scott, Mike and Jack Ramsdell along with Ike Winzler and Reg Brough were among the group. Traveling Judges Phyllis B. Holmgren, Vita Burt, Damsell Nelson and Romaine Jensen were the ladies from Bear River who went to Coalville to judge sewing and other household entires August 8. Before going on their honeymoon Horace E. Milhone (Toni Christensen) spent a day touring Salt Lake City with the bridegrooms parents Mr. and Mrs. Langdon Milhone of Senecaville, Ohio. The elder Milhones left for their home and Horace and Toni left for the Worlds Fair taking the coast route through San before Calif. Francisco, returning here and leaving again for their permanent residence. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Mortensen and children of Las Vegas, Nev. are visiting here with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Mortensen. Kay attended his 15th high school reunion held at Sherwood Hills. The Dee Jay Thompsons left on a short trip in honor of Mrs. Thompsons birthday August 14. Their daughter Denise spent her vacation in Idaho Falls, Idaho with relatives and Dean stayed with relatives in Logan. Chester and Ada Stander spent some time at home to attend the funeral of a family member. (Leona Stander's mother). They have left for their mission headquarters in McCook, Neb. Off to Mountains Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Leonard hooked onto their trailer house and joined Joyce and Curtis Larson and children with their camper and spent a week in the Uinta Mountains. Mrs. Rilda Kilpack after leaving the hospital has spent two weeks with her daughter and family Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Anderson. Mrs. Kilpack has improved considerably from her illness, but still needs her family to care for her. The Leonards report that Mrs. Leonards brother Elliot Kilpack upon returning to his home after vacationing with his relatives here suffered a massive heart attack and was taken to the hospital in Las Vegas, Nev. where he spent two weeks. He was flown to his home in California last week but is still not too well. Scott Peterson, son of Helen and David Peterson of Ogden is leaving on a mission and he invited Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Leonard and Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Anderson to accompany him through the temple on Tuesday. The ladies are Scott's aunts. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Brown and daughter Laurel left Thursday for their home in Alabama. Kelly Iverson and family left for an extended tour of the northwest before returning to their home in Torrance, Calif., Bob and Carla Dennison left the previous Monday for Cupertino, Calif., Sallie and Eugene Mabry and three daughters left last Sunday for Rolling Hills, Calif, and Monday morning Dollie Iverson took Larrie and Marla Berry to the airport in Salt Lake to catch their flight back to Bay St. Louis, Miss. On the way back she stopped in Ogden to visit a sister Helen Hansen. Attend Class Reunion While the family was all together Pete and Betty Misrasi attended Petes 30 year class reunion, Sally and Eugene her 20th, Jeannette and Wallace attended her 15th, and Larrie her fifth. The Grimmett girls who have been spending the summer with the Ken Pasketts met with an accident. Something happened to scare Susans horse causing her to fall off and Sylvias horse stepped on her neck and shoulder.
