Dr. and Mrs. Robert Poulson, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Hirschi and President and Mrs. Gerald Simmons, Mrs. Barbara Poulson, Mrs. Theda Hirschi and Mrs. Marianne Simmons were honored as outgoing Stake and officers each and Mrs. Lyle Watson, Mrs. and Mrs. Jess Udy accompaied by Mr. and Mrs. Verl Udy and Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Udy of Fielding attended a dinner party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Parker in Ogden Monday evening. The party was in compliment to Tim who was observing his birthday anniversary. Wedding Reception Mr. and Mrs. LaMont Rogers attended a wedding reception held in the Roy Sixth ward cultural hall Thursday evening in compliment to Mrs. Rogers neice, Miss Jeanette Johnson who became the bride of Don Fowers in wedding rites performed in the ' Ogden LDS temple Thursday morning. Floyd Rose is reported to be in a serious condition in the McKay hospital in Ogden. Dr. and Mrs. Darwin Woodbury returned Wednesday after spending several days in Portland where Dr. Woodbury A program was injoyed. Bishop and Mrs. Theo Coombs and sons Curtis and Jami attended the performance of the International Folk Dancers held at the Marriott center at BVU in Prove Friday evening. Their daughter Cami is a member of the Folk Dancers. The Variety club held their Christmas party at Sherwood Hills in Sardine canyon Thursday evening. Mrs. Gerald Simmons was a special guest. Special guests were Mrs. Mae Miller, Mrs. Winona Ballard and Mrs. LaPriel Light refreshments were served. A holiday party was slated for New Years Eve to be held at the Senior Center. Mrs. Deakin presented each member and guest with a mini fruit cake. The occasion was Berthell Christensens birthday anniversary. Mrs. Richard Calderwood has been spending a week in Salt Lake City at the home of her and daughter Mr. and Mrs. James Phillips and son-in-la- w was family. Mrs. Phillips recuperating from an illness and her mother cared for her and the family. Spending Thursday in Salt Lake City were Mr. and Mrs. V. D. Bowcutt. Davids homecoming testimonial was held in the stake center Sunday evening where he reported on his LDS mission in Central America.
