They stated that children today have it too easy and everything shouldnt be handed to them. Also that senior citizens on a fixed income couldnt handle the increase in their property taxes. and recreation facilities. IT WAS determined that it would increase property taxes approximatsly $9 a year on a $30,000 home. A special bond election will be held May 24 to vote on the bond. Clearfield citizens can register at the Davis Co. The 32 team tournament 16 team junior and 16 team senior, began two weeks ago in the Hooper Stake Gym with the winning stake and zone teams of the Southern Explorer District which covers the area of Kaysville north to Roy competing for top honors. THE FINAL games were played last Saturday, Apr. 23 at the Hooper gym. It was an outstanding tournament with a lot of enthusiasm and team play by all posts who entered the competition.
