He loved the outdoors, hunting, and was proud to be a rancher and a farmer. He worked in construction in Salt Lake, Provo, and Juab County. He poured cement in the construction of Geneva Steele. He built many roads in Juab County. He was a member of the Utah Cattlemens Association and was a member of the LDS church. He is survived by his wife, Clara; three sons, and three daughters, Carol Ann (Roy) Spriggs ofSt. George; Richard W. (Mary) Pace of American Fork; p Kaysville; Kathryn Mitchell and Janet (Steve) Harrow, both of Salt Lake City; 23 grandchildren; 22 He n. was preceded in death by 3 brothers, 3 sisters, and one grandchild. Funeral services will be gery. Mary was bora April 2, 1922, in Nephi to William Lynn and Stella Bigler Olpin. She married Joseph Julian Overman June 7, 1944, in Rio Nido, California. The marriage was. solemnized June 22, 1964, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mary received her education in Nephi where she was active in the marching band, the arts and athletics. She attended Weber State Academy where she was involved with a volunteer service group and on the swim team. She and Joe raised their family in Nephi, Orem and Ogden.
