Show THE SAN JlrAN RECORD Wednesday, April 30, 2003 - Fapi- 7 - National Guard readies for deployment Dear Editor: I would like to express my deep appreciation for the outpourlove of and support shown by the residents of San Juan ing toward the soldiers in the military. It makes a big difCounty ference to a soldier to know that so many people in their hometowns stand behind them. It also helps to know that so many good people are taking care of our families. To the young man who sent all the cards and to everyone who took the time to personalize them, thank you. Thank you to each and every kid in the school classes who sent homemade letters and cards. Thanks for the care packages, the bulletin boards back home, and for all the many things you've done for us. For those of you who have loved ones and friends who are serving, I want to let you know that in the 12 years I have been in the military, I have never had the pleasure of serving with better trained soldiers. Thank you for all of your prayers and support.
