The marketing plan provides extensive direction for the countys marketing efforts. The moniker, Utahs Canyon Country will be integrated into a new logo and used to position and sell the county. This sales and marketing plan provides comprehensive information and direction to promote our tourism industry, said Peggy Humphreys, Director of San Juan County Visitor Services and Community Development. The moniker, Utahs Can- yon Country!' will advance statewide, national, and international recognition of San Juan County, she added. The sales and marketing outlines 27 marketing programs, and includes sales plans to address the tour & travel, travel agent, and leisure travel markets. The plan was developed by San Juan County Visitor Services and Leif Johnson Resource Marketing, a consulting firm in Grand Junction, CO.
