He married Afton Hurst on May 28, 1941 in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints, after which he taught at San Juan High another year. He was inducted into the U.S. Army in March of 1943 r affairs, always promoting agriculture. He is survived by his wife Afton of Blanding; sons J.
