Show and control of the stc.te offices during Girls State. The Girls State program is operated totally by the American Legion Auxiliary. The board and staff are all members of the American Legion Auxiliary. Following are the four rep- Ferron Girls Staters chosen American Legion Auxiliary Ferron Unit 42 announces their 1995 Girls State citizens. The ruut is able to send four girls to the 48th session of Girls State which will be held at Southern UtahUniversityin Cedar City, June 5 to 10. The purpose ofGirls State is to educate young women in the duties, privileges, rights and responsibilities of citizenship. Girls State is an effort by the American Legion Auxiliary to bring to the girls of Utah a knowledge of the fundamental principals ofAmerican govern- ment through actual practice resentatives for Girls State from the American Legion Aux- iliary Ferron Unit 42.
