Show John Mapel from Vista, Calif. The vititor are on a month' vacation having spent two week visiting and on business at their former home in Casper, Wyo., prior to coming here. They arrived last Friday night and will be here about ten days or so. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Wells and family are vacationing in Yellowstone Yellow-stone National Park and enjoying some fishing in Idaho. VUiting with Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Stanley are Mrs. Stanley's mother, Mrs. Annabell Reed, and Mrs. John Reed and ion, Bob, of Elko, Nev. Mr. and Mr. William Rager and family, Danny. Kenny, Rochelle and Reanon entertained at a family party par-ty at their home last Thursday night honoring Mrs. Rager's father, Henry A. Cheever of Copperton on his birthday anniversary. Other family members present were Mrs. Cheever, Cheev-er, Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Peterson Peter-son and sons. Bob and Rodney of Salt Lahe City and Mr. and Mr. Jay Cheever and family, Ronald, Gary, Marie, Jaylene, Richard and Diane of Granger. A hamburger dinner with all the trimming wa enjoyed. Robin Nelon, daughter of Mr. and Mr. Royce Nelson, is recovering recover-ing at home from an tonsillectomy. The operation was performed by the Nelson family doctor, Dr. Graham Gra-ham of Midvale Tuesday morning at 8 o'clock. Robin ia recovering satisfactorily from the operation. WEST JORDAN Marlena Webb, Correspondent Friday, July 7, the West Jordan Third Ward girl baseball team defeated de-feated the West Jordan Fourth Ward girls baseball team. A welcome home for Mr. and Mrs. Cook was given in the West Jordan First Ward. They are returned re-turned stake mittionariet. Lynn Locke, ton of Mr. and Mr. Myron Locke, i very excited over a beautiful little puppy given to him for hi birthday from the Harmon family. A mittionary farewell in honor of Grant Price wa held Sunday evening ev-ening at Wet Jordan Fourth Ward. Mia Joan Dotton, daughter of Fauntella Dotton, was married on June 30th. Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Mabey and Wilford L. Webb returned Monday evening from a trip to Idaho. They spent some time in Lava Hot Springs and then motored around sightseeing. sightsee-ing. Russell and Darrell Webb. Wilford Wil-ford Webb and Darrell' brother-in-law, Ernie Brown, spent Sunday fishing at Deer Creek. The Johnsons birthday party for July was recently held at the home of Mr. and Mr. Max Aaron of Kearn. Thote attending from West Jordan were Mr. and Mrs. Russell Webb. Mr. and Mrs. Albert J. Spencer and family attended a family re-! union at Lagoon Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. T.
