Show HAPPENINGS OF FORMER BINGHAMITES Visitors Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Williamson and daughter, Nancy Jo, of West Jordan were Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Van Tassell of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hettrick and daughter, Mrs. Jerry Wheatley of West Jordan were dinner guests last Thursday of their son and brother bro-ther and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hettrick Jr. of Salt Lake City. Dinner guest Tuesday evening of Mrs. Eugene Morris of Midvale was her niece, Mrs. Lora Gove of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Josh Hawks and daughter, Julee, of Portage spent the day last Friday with hsr another, Mrs. Eugene Eu-gene Morris. , July 4th visitors and dinner guests of Mr. and Mr. Scotty Robertson Ro-bertson and family of Midvale were Mrs. Manila Anderson of Midvale and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Childers and children, George, John, Debbie, Jerry Dale, LeeAnn and Norma Jo of Murray. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bowen and son, Donnie, and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Burmister of West Jordan enjoyed early morning breakfast and some fishing at Brighton, Monday morn-" ing, July 3rd. LeeAnn and Norma Jo Robertson returned home to Murray Tuesday evening after spending five days with their grandparents,. Mr. and Mrs. Scotty Robertson and family. Mrs. Tony Jaterka and son, Pee-wee, Pee-wee, of Kearns visited Sunday evening even-ing at the Scotty Robertson home in Midvale. Capt. Howard Otteson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Otteson, former for-mer Bingham residents, now of Sugar Su-gar City, Idaho, is soon completing his two year assignment in the army and plans to take up dental practice upon his release from the service. Miss Carol Otteson, formerly of Bingham, now of Sugar City, Idaho, has been visiting with relatives and friends in Salt Lake City. Lfst Friday evening a family get together was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Scotty Robertson of Midvale, honoring Mrs. Robertson's mother, Mrs. Manila Anderson on her birthday anniversary. Other family fa-mily members present were Malcolm Mal-colm and Kevin Robertson, Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson and children, Susan, Brent and Jodi, of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Jensen, and LeeAnn and Norma Jo Robertson. Robert-son. Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Cotter entertained enter-tained their night bridge club at their home in Midvale last Friday night. Guests were Dr. and Mrs. R. G. Frazier, Mr. and Mrs. George Robbe, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Fernley, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Tripp, Mrs. Joe Kemp, Mrs. Will Jones and Mrs. Eugene Morris. Prizes were won by Mrs. Tripp, Mrs. Morris and Mr. Robbe. A very lovely evening was enjoyed by all. Enjoying a canyon party at Storm Mt. in Big Cottonwood Canyon Can-yon last Thursday night were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth H. Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Gail McDonald and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Brown of Midvale, Mr. and Mrs. Don Andreason of Riverton md Mr. and Mrs. Gus Hatch of Copperton. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Adams arrived arriv-ed Tuesday nieht from Waco, Tex., for a visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louie Spera of Midvale. Mrs. Adams will be remembered as the former JoAnn Spera. Mr. Adams who has served in the air force for four years, received his release from the air force on July 7th at Waco. |
