Show WILLIAM HAROLD SPARK ES Funeral services for William Harold Sparkes, 71, of Salt Lake City, former Copperton resident, who passed away Wednesday afternoon, after-noon, July 5, at his home of natural na-tural causes, were held Saturday, July 8, at 12 noon at 260 East So. Temple. Mr. Sparkes was born Nov. I, 1889, Lake Shore, Davis County, to Joseph Thomas and Rosina F. Rose Sparkes. He married Ethel Millgate Oct. 21, 1915, in the Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mr. Sparkes retired from Kennecott Copper Corp. as clerk in 1954. Surviving him are his widow, Salt Lake City; daughters, Mrs. Stephen G. (Evelyn) Rawlings, West Jordan; Mrs. Lester (Helen) Anderson, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Cloid L. (LaVon) Hinckley, Midvale; Mid-vale; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers and a sister, Geber Sidney, Salt Lake City; Fred W. Miner, Midvale, and Mrs. Oscar (Rosie) Morris, Sandy. HARVEY ORSON SNOW Graveside services for Harvey Orson Snow, 68, Salt Lake City insurance consultant, were held Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. in the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Mr. Snow passed away Sunday morning, July 9, in a Salt Lake hospital of a heart ailment. He was a brother to Lawrence Lawr-ence E. Snow of Copperton. ERNEST BERATTO Ernest Beratto, 67, of Riverton died Wednesday at 6 a.m. in a Salt Lake hospital of natural causes. He was born Nov. 14, 1893 in Bingham Bing-ham Canyon to Antonio and Sec-ondia Sec-ondia Accompo Beratto. He is survived sur-vived by the following brothers and sisters: Albert, Mrs. William (Anna Silcox, Mrs. Dan (Lena) Coy, all of Riverton and John, Montpelier, Idaho. |
