The Partnership seeks to represent the community of people with legal and other in terests in the future of Mill Creek Canyon, and to facilitate collaboration between the various interests in managing uses ofthe canyon. The MCP has sent invitations to the interest groups and individuals with a direct legal stake in the future of Mill Creek. However, the Partnership also would like to see hikers and other recreational users of the canyon represented in its board of directors. If you would like to represent one of these more informal interests in the canyon please attend the first board meeting of the MCP on Nov. 14. The MCP began meeting regularly in September, 1996 to cultivate cooperation between the various land owners and management agencies in finding ways to address some of the damage to archeological, natural and recreational resources in the Boulder smashes into Kane Creek Road County and City road and utility crews were busy Wednesday morning cleaning up after Tuesdays torrential downpour that brought this boulder down onto Kane Creek Road about half a mile west of the portal. Five years after obtaining his associate degree, this 1993 CEU alumni is now the new graphic arts teacher at CEU. Twenty-fiv- e year old Nate Wilson also attended Southern Utah University for two years and is a Utah State University graduate in graphic design and illustration. Wilson likes the area and has big plans for graphic arts at CEU. Graphic arts, traditionally, has been more technologically based. Wilson plans to relate it more to art. Although he is young, he has valuable experience to offer. As a working professional, he had ads published in Great Britain, a worldwide annual, a trade show in Japan, and he designed ski goggles for Scott USA in just a matter of two years. His goals now are to help others at CEU get technical experience they need for the job market. Sophomores must have a working portfolio and should have experience in creating school posters, flyers and understand the workings of the job from start to finish. A versatile addition to CEU, Wilson by- - passed the big city, the hurry and scurry of professional life to teach graphic design, a definite passion. He is enjoying his new position and his students reap the benefits. V' ' ' Carey Dabney for School Board School boards are in the business of right fork of the canyon.
