Depending upon the direction you'll be approaching the base, here are some suggestions that might help. Once on the base you will be guided to parking areas by Air Force on. A full day of activities on the ground and in the skies is planned from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Throughout the day there's music demonstrations, food and exhibits scheduled to be enjoyed by people of all ages. The theme for this year's show is "A Salute to Veterans," and veterans of all wars are invited to participate in the day's opening ceremony at 10 anx i M" o ) I i ' xa' Schedule of Events A a.m. 9 a.m. 8 9:30 a.m. 1 0 a.m. V VX il y VINDOOR EXHIBITS fl 1 1 If you are coming north on Highway 89, turn west at State Road 193 and follow it to 1 1 the South Gate. Traffic traveling north from the Salt Lake area would need to exit at the State Road 89 split at Lagoon in to get to this point. and There is road construction along on Highway 89 near State Road 193 which so give yourself may cause some delays some extra time. Distinguished visitors, media, disabled Individuals displaying distinguished visitor passes, media passes or disabled license plates are requested to use the South Gate to gain access to special parking areas. Distinguished visitors should park at the Officers Club. The media and disabled will be given directions to the parking areas designated for them as they enter the base. After parking, the media should report to the Media Center located on the flightline. To get to the West Gate take Exit 338 off (650 North. Clearfield). 1-- Roy Gate People coming from north of the base are reRoy, Riverdale, Ogden, Logan use to the Gate. Take Exit 341 Roy quested off (5600 South, Roy). After coming through the gate, continue south and follow the same street when it turns east. It will take you directly to the parking lots near the exhibit area. 1-- Southwest Gate (Truck Gate) Access for is reserved authorized individuals to enter the base to go to the commissary, base exchange, bowling alley, hospital or the family housing areas. On-ba- se SOUTHWEST fN GATE residents residents It is requested that leave their Cars at home and either walk or on-bas- e use the special shuttle buses that will be available Saturday. Leaving the base People departing from Hill before 4 p.m. will be directed to leave the base through either the Southwest Gate, West Gate or Roy Gate depending on the traffic flow. After 4 p.m. all the gates will be opened for exiting air show traffic. The Hill security police request that you exit through the same gate you entered so traffic flows smoothly.
