Applications must be in by April 25. The event will kick off the Air Force Youth Leadership Challenge Program which is designed to develop and recognize leadership and volunteer service among youth of Air Force families. The goal of the teen forum is to invite youths who will benefit from a leadership workshop and contribute to discussions on needed changes in the Air Force Youth Activities Program. Participants will be billeted in the Embassy Suite Hotel near the academy. The forum will be conduct 4-- 8 ld ed at the academy with evening entertainment scheduled. Cost is $300 per participant plus air fair, but funds may be arranged through fund raisers and the Youth Activities Program. Participation requirements Must be 8 years old on Aug. 1, 1986. Must have participated in the Youth Activities Program on a base within the last year. 3. Must have at least one parent who is active duty military. One page recommendation from a secondary school teacher. One page recommendation from a personal reference. One page essay from nominee titled "My Leadership Potential.'! All material must be returned to the youth activities director by April 25. Only two youths will be selected to represent Hill. Those selected will be sent to command headquarters for final evaluation. "The agenda for the youth teen forum is fantastic," said Jim Dicus, Youth Center director.
