He served a mission for the LDS Church in Cordial Club Holds Mother's Day Luncheon Cordial Club members, mothers, and other special guests held their annual Mother's Day Luncheon at the Wilkinson Center Cen-ter Saturday, May 13th. Under the direction of Mrs. Carl D. Johnson, club president, the officers planned and hosted the event. Those assisting Mrs. Johnson were Mrs. ElwoodSund-berg, ElwoodSund-berg, Mrs. Dale McCann, Mrs. Herald Vance, Mrs. Farr Hatch, and Mrs. Frank Breznick. A beautiful vocal solo, "That Wonderful Mother of Mine was sung by Mrs. David Packard, after which lunch was served, Mrs. Rodney Atack entertained the group withatributetomothers and special guests were introduced. intro-duced. The Junior Patriots of American Ameri-can Fork Junior High School, under the direction of Bert Taylor, presented the rest of the program. This group told in words and song what America means to them. Schauerhamer of Orem announce the forthcoming marriage of their Getz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ken neth E. Getz of Glendive, Montana, Mon-tana, The couple plan to be married in the Salt Lake Temple Tem-ple on May 30. They will be honored that evening at an Open House at the bride's home at 50 West 1560 South, Orem. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Orem High School and has attended Brigham Young Univer-. sity. La Leche Group Meets Thursday The Orem La Leche League will hold the first in a series of monthly discussions Thursday, May 18, at 8 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Paul Clark, 1554 South 240 East, Orem. La Leche League in an international inter-national non-profit organization formed toencourage breastfeeding among young mothers. Experienced Exper-ienced nursing mothers help solve problems for others who wish to use this method but are experiencing difficulties.
