Several residents of the neighborhood neigh-borhood in Park Meadows hung banners on their homes that condemned con-demned the builder's work in the project. The banners were on buildings on the :wX3 block and 2700 block of Gallian Loop Road. Frank Traezvk. who lives on the 2WK) block and is a member of the Cove's homeowner's association board, said residents were upset with the design of a home. Traezvk says the home would have hurt the view; of some neighbors. "The thirg that really precipitated precipitat-ed it is they changed one of the buildings at the end and made it a larger building." Traezvk said. "It was changed from the original building to a different size." Traczyk said there are several other complaints about the developer. develop-er. He said landscaping in the project proj-ect is a problem as are the paint jobs on the buildings and. he said, concrete con-crete gutters are cracking. "The bottom line is things have not gotten done and residents are riled up about it." he said. Richard Jaffa, a developer of the Cove, said the complaints from the residents have resulted in some chances. Jaffa said the Cove pmMaaromHnwV ... - A ' "-"- - l . u N y y -rr 81 Jjj I N uH ?1 ? mzzzz , . n A homeowner displays a banner against a developer in the Cove. the landscaping and the paint. He said the situation did not necessitate the protests in the neighborhood. "This is not the best way to go about it." Jaffa said of the banners. But Traczyk said the neighborhood, neighbor-hood, where prices start at about reduced the size of the home. One side, Jaffa said, was reduced by one foot while the other side was taken down six feet. Stinson said he wants the setup within walking distance of Park City's transit center, which is now under construction in lower Swede Alley. He said a house, a condominium condomini-um or Main Street office space all could suffice for the media center. "It's not going to be a massive working press room like you'll see at the venues." Stinson said. The Chamber Bureau is plan-, ning to pay for the media center. Sponsors might offset the cost, though. Stinson said.
