Naisbitt's Brewery; Red Rock Brewing Company; Rooster's 25th Street Brewing Company; Squatters Brewery; Uinta Brewing Company; and of, course, Park City's Wasatch Brewery. The entertainment stage will host musical performances all day, featuring one of the most celebrated cel-ebrated guitarists in the world, Sonny Landreth. He has immersed himself in the rich culture cul-ture of Louisiana and explored its many musical roots. The master of modern slide guitar, his music is a personal statement that transports trans-ports you to the mythical Deep South. Sonny Landreth will give two performances on Saturday at 2:15 p.m. and 5 p.m. C.J. Chenier, "the crown prince of zydeco" and the Red Hot Louisiana Band are the source of infectious, rhythmic music fueling the dance in everyone. They will be performing twice on Saturday at 1 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. Food tents will offer a large variety of entrees from which to choose. Also, direct from The Cajun Lady Restaurant and Catering, New Orleans specialties including jambalaya, crayfish and shrimp Creole will be red hot and guaranteed to make you thirsty. Admission to the festival is $6 and tickets are available at the microbrew pubs and all Smith's Tix outlets. Children 12 are free. The admission price includes a plastic six-ounce mug and each brew sample is $1. abundance than ever in Utah. The third annual Microbrewers' Festival promises to be the greatest great-est yet, with a renaissance of ' hand-crafted beers. Franklin Quest Field will host this year's event on Sept. 30, 11:30 a.m.- 1 6:30 p.m. Utah's nine microbrew-eries microbrew-eries will join together, each presenting pre-senting four of their favorite brews for tasting. i The microbreweries are: The ' Desert Edge Brewery; Eddie McStiff's; Fuggles Microbrewery; Was it a farewell concert? continued from B7, ; , able until Joey would come back out and sing. CJ.'s backup vocals were killer. The second half of the show was not bereft of trademark Ramones stage gimmicks. The guy wearing the pinhead mask brought out a huge "Gabba Gabba Hey" sign, and the crowd joyfully chanted along as Joey shook it. At the end of the show, Joey shouted "adios amigos," and saun- itered offstage while sad Spanish guitar music wafted from the R A. I almost cried. Adios Amigos! is really a great ! album. The single that has been getting get-ting the most air play, at least around here, is a cover of Tom I Wait's "I Don't Wanna Grow Up." t Other notable tunes are "She Talks to Rainbows," "Born To Die in Berlin" (which codas with a wonderful won-derful version of the Spiderman cartoon car-toon theme), and "I Love You," a tribute to the late New York Dolls player Johnny Thunders. The record sounds like the Ramones: Joey on voice, Johnny on barre-chord guitar, Marky Ramone and his wig on drums and C.J. on bass. Ex-bassist Dee-Dee Ramone did not play on the album, but he did co-write many of the songs that appear. To expect anything else would be ludicrous. If this is the Ramones' last album (the cover pictures two retreating dinosaurs wearing sombreros som-breros could this be a clue?) they have left us with one of their best. I will miss them sorely.
