A book entitled "Teenage Mutant Mu-tant Ninja Turtles, ABCs to a Better Planet," has come under fire from the federation of ranchers and farmers for what it considers a misrepresentation of agriculture. According to UFB executive vice president C. Booth Wallentine, the farm organization is concerned about certain passages in the Random Ran-dom House book. "We object to passages containing misinformation on livestock raising techniques and farm chemical use that could needlessly spread fear about the safety of certain foods," he said. 1 ' We believe it would have been far more useful to concentrate on the fact that farmers and ranchers in this country have been able to produce pro-duce an abundant food supply capable of feeding hundreds of millions of people because they have taken care of the soil, the water, and their crops and livestock."
