Show Dexter has new attorney I FARMINGTON Terry M. Dexter, accused of con-I con-I spiring to murder his former wife, has been assigned a new I public defender. I Steven C. Vander linden was assigned to handle the case after defendant Dexter fired attorney Scott Holt on Feb. 26, saying he was not given ' 'fair legal representation." Dexter was arrested in October for aggravated burglary and assault in an incident that occurred at his former wife's home. While held in the Davis County Jail on those charges, he allegedly conspired to have his former wife murdered. In assigning Vanderlinden to the case, 2nd District Court Justice Rodney S. Page moved the trial date for the aggravated ag-gravated assault charge from March 13 to April 24. The I conspiracy trial was set for May 1, at 9 a.m. A pre-trial con-I con-I ference was Scheduled for April 16, at 2:30 p.m. |
