Show Rabies clinics set The Utah Veterinary Medical Association is sponsoring its annual rabies clinics for both dogs and cats. The cost this year will be $6, and the clinics will be held Saturday, Feb. 24 from 1-3 p.m. Both cats and dogs are required by the state of Utah to be vaccinated against rabies, cats every year and dogs every two years. Animal control staff will be present pre-sent at most Salt Lake valley clinics to provide licensing for dogs who' are six months of age and adult dogs who are presently unlicensed. It is important to bring the sterilization steriliza-tion certificate for your dog for proof of neutering or spaying. All dogs attending the clinics need to be on a leash and all cats in a carrier. Call your veterinarian for a location loca-tion nearest you. This is a statewide campaign. The Davis County locations loca-tions are: Bountiful City Hall, 790 S. 100 E. and the North Salt Lake Fire Station, 20 S. Highway 89, North Salt Lake. |
